Product Overview
The CAMTOP Drop Ball Circulating Sub is a type of circulating valve used for oil well drill stem testing operations and fracturing operations.
Manufactured from high-strength alloy steel, this circulating sub is pin-by-box and activated by dropping a chrome steel ball. The ball lands on a sleeve, and as pressure increases, the pins in the sleeve are sheared. This causes the sleeve to move down and expose four ports in the side of the sub, diverting the fluid flow.
The drop ball mechanism provides a simple and reliable method for establishing circulation communication between the work string and the annulus during testing operations.
