CAMTOP supplies BOP packing elements (rubber elements) for annular blowout preventers, coiled tubing BOPs and stripper heads. Our packing elements seal on drill pipe, drill collars, tubing, casing and open hole, and are designed for rapid replacement in the field.Packing element compounds include Nitrile (NBR) for standard oil-based and water-based mud service, Hydrogenated Nitrile (HNBR) for high-temperature and H2S service (up to 250 degF), Natural Rubber for water-based mud, and Polyurethane for high-pressure stripping operations. Each compound is available in Shore hardness grades optimised for different BOP designs.CAMTOP packing elements are dimensionally compatible with Hydril GX/GL/MSP, Cameron Type D/DL/U, Shaffer SL and NOV Koomey annular BOPs. Elements are available in sizes from 7-1/16 inch through 20-3/4 inch bore. Moulded rubber quality is verified by tensile strength and elongation testing in accordance with API 16A and OEM specifications.
