The CAMTOP Hi-G Drying Shaker (also called Hi-G Dryer Shale Shaker) is a high-performance linear-motion vibrating screen engineered for the first-stage drying of drilling cuttings in oilfield waste management systems. Designed to operate downstream of the primary solids control train (shale shaker, D-sander, D-silter), the unit achieves an adjustable G-force up to 8.0G and a processing capacity of up to 150 m³/h (660 GPM), delivering noticeably drier cuttings and reducing downstream volume and disposal cost.

The Hi-G Drying Shaker occupies the first stage of the drilling waste management processing system. Cuttings discharged from the primary solids control equipment (shale shaker, D-sander, D-silter) carry entrained drilling fluid; the Hi-G Dryer removes this fluid, recovers expensive mud chemicals, and reduces the volume sent to the downstream vertical cutting dryer. The combined effect is a dramatic reduction in waste disposal cost and environmental footprint.

How the High-G Drying Shaker Works

The CAMTOP Hi-G Drying Shaker uses two synchronized vibrating motors (typically Italian OLI or American Martin) to generate a linear high-frequency vibration. Vibration amplitude is independently adjustable between 4.4 mm and 6.34 mm, and G-force is adjustable up to 8.0G to match cuttings characteristics.

Wet cuttings enter the deck through a hopper feeder and are spread across the pretension composite screens. The combined effect of high G-force, controlled deck angle (-1° to +5°), and open screen area (2.73 m² per deck × 4 panels) causes free fluid to drain through the screens while the dewatered cuttings travel along the deck to discharge. Recovered fluid returns to the active mud system, where it can be reused — reducing both fresh fluid demand and waste volume.
