API Surface Test Tree / Flowhead for Oil & Gas Well Testing
The CAMTOP Surface Test Tree / Flowhead is a solid-block surface control head designed for surface well testing, perforating, and wireline operations. It integrates a master valve, upper swab valve, kill line valve, and a hydraulically actuated flow line valve into a single rugged assembly. All valves are full-bore gate valves with metal-to-metal sealing for maximum reliability in H2S / CO2 service per NACE MR0175.
Located below the main valve block is a high-axial-thrust tubing swivel that allows tool-string rotation while under pressure. The test tree is rated for working pressures up to 15,000 psi and tensile loads up to 1,500,000 lb, making it suitable for the most demanding onshore and offshore well-testing campaigns.

Operating Principle
The Surface Test Tree is installed on top of the wellhead Christmas tree and provides the primary pressure-containment and flow-control barrier during well testing. Produced fluids enter the master valve and are directed through the upper swab valve to the flow line. The kill line valve allows circulation of kill-weight fluid to the annulus, while the hydraulically actuated flow line valve provides remote, failsafe-closed well control — automatically shutting in the well if hydraulic pressure or control signal is lost.
The high-axial-thrust tubing swivel installed below the valve block enables the operator to rotate the entire test string while under full working pressure — essential for wireline operations, tool-string manipulation, and stuck-pipe recovery.
