WPT Dual Actuated Water Cooled Brakes

WPT water cooled brakes are designed for applications in which thermal loads must be dissipated and where heavy-duty continuous slip tensioning is needed.

Manufactured for dynamic tensioning and static holding applications. Typical applications include – draw works, marine deck equipment & forestry.

WPT DA/WCB combines air applied control and spring-applied fail-safe features. Specifically designed for heavy-duty braking and holding applications, where emergency stop and parking brake features are required.

WPT DA/WCB avoids redundant braking systems on many applications. The two-in-one design incorporates two air-tube actuators. One actuator is pressure applied for dynamic tensioning. The other actuator is spring applied for holding and emergency stop operations.
